Account Deletion

This page explains how StrictlyByIV users can request deletion of their account and what may happen to related event, marketplace, booking, and payment records.

Draft notice: This page is a working deletion-policy draft and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before production launch.

1. How to request deletion

Request account deletion from inside the StrictlyByIV app while signed in:

  • Open Profile.
  • Open Account settings.
  • Select Delete account.
  • Review what is deleted and retained, confirm with your password or a verification code, and submit the request.

If you cannot access your account, contact support@strictlybyiv.com from the email address linked to your account and we will process the request for you.

2. Deletion timeline

When you submit a deletion request, your account is disabled immediately — you are signed out, you can no longer sign in, and your public provider listings are removed from discovery.

Your personal data is then permanently deleted or anonymized after a 30-day grace period. The grace period lets us reverse an accidental request if you contact support before it elapses. Records we are legally required to keep are retained in anonymized form (see below).

If you have unresolved obligations — such as an active booking, an outstanding balance, or a pending payout — you will be asked to resolve them before the request can be submitted.

3. What is removed or disabled

Account access is disabled and your public provider profiles are removed from discovery. Your personal data — including your profile details, events, guest lists, messages, checklists, budgets, and provider listing content — is deleted or anonymized.

4. What is retained

Some records are retained, in a form detached from your identity, when required for legal, fraud-prevention, tax, accounting, payment processing, refund, payout, booking, dispute, safety, security, or audit reasons.

Examples include payment references, settlement and payout records, booking history needed to resolve disputes, identity-verification audit records required for anti-money-laundering compliance, support records, fraud-prevention logs, and records required by law or our payment partners.
